How to reach Saas-Almagell

If you travel via railways, go to Visp where you have to change to the post bus that will bring you to Saas-Almagell. There is one bus per hour until 20.10 (till Saas-Grund until 22.40 and friday and saturday also at 23.40). In Saas-Grund you need to change the bus. Time from Visp to Saas-Almagell is around 45 minutes.

If you travel by car, you get to Valais via Bern - Lötschberg from the North, via Furka or Simplon from East and South and via Lausanne - Sion from the West. In Visp take the turn-off to Stalden - Saas-Grund / Zermatt. Leaving Stalden at the roundabout drive in direction Saas-Grund. Stay left in Saas-Grund to get to Saas-Almagell. It will take you around 40 minutes from Visp to Saas-Almagell.
